Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Schema Manager (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we automatically access certain types of information from your Shopify account via APIs:

  1. Store Information: Store name, email, domain, and currency.
  2. Product & Collection Data: Titles, descriptions, prices, and availability (used to generate JSON-LD schema).
  3. Customer Reviews: We access rating data only if you choose to enable review schema.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected from you and your store to:

  1. Provide the App’s core functionality (generating structured data).
  2. Communicate with you regarding app updates or support requests.
  3. Optimize app performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with third parties to help us use your information as described above (e.g., Shopify’s platform infrastructure). We also comply with legal obligations if required by law.

Data Retention

We retain store data for as long as the App is installed. If you uninstall the App, we will delete your data within 48 hours, in compliance with Shopify’s mandatory data redaction webhooks.

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
